I'm Allison Lee and I have been a closeted foodie for a long time. I think I could pin point the start of it when traveling to Europe basically every summer in my 20's. I worked at a summer camp in Germany and Italy and on my off time would jump on a train and explore all over Europe, its sights and of course, the cuisine!
My Husband and I got married and honeymooned in Europe while also working at the camp for one last summer. I loved that I could experience it with him and while I was active Director of the camp, he was the cook for 100+ hungry campers. Call it the ultimate training for our very immediate next chapter; kids!
We had our first baby 9 months later (I blame the sangria) and another one 4 years after that. Life dramatically shifted to more domestic food experiences. So this blog is kind of the marriage of the past and the present. They have definitely influenced each other!
